PRP for hair restoration uses innovative platelet rich plasma (PRP) technology. How does it work? The clients' own blood is safely drawn by a nurse or physician, and is then spun in a medical device called a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the blood plasma (liquid gold). This platelet rich plasma is then injected into the scalp where hair loss/thinning is present. Platelets are the component of our blood that contain multiple growth factors and nutrients.
